Nobody climbs a staircase by being handed every step at once. Open six books on day one and you will stare at Level 5, feel lost, and close all of them.

So Level 1 unlocks the day you join, Levels 2–5 unlock as you complete each one, and the Harmony Code unlocks after Level 3, when your ear is ready for it.
